OverviewChromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company that manufactures and repairs critical turbine components. The Equipment Maintenance Specialist works the 1st shift on the production floor.
Responsibilities- Use multimeters and amp probes to troubleshoot 480/220 V AC systems in pumps, starters, and solenoids.
- Read mechanical and electrical blueprints, fabricate, and assemble components, and disassemble them as needed.
- Operate cutting and milling machines, welding, brazing, plumbing, and assembly of high‑temperature parts.
- Repair surface media tumbling machinery and exhaust/extraction systems.
- Calibrate plasma and vacuum console gauges, troubleshoot servo‑drives and DC power supplies.
- Operate forklift and perform other job‑related physical tasks.
Minimum Qualifications- 5–7 years of related equipment maintenance experience.
- Proficient in stick/TIG welding, brazing, plumbing.
- Knowledge of vacuum theory, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to run forklift and work with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Self‑motivated, problem‑solving ability, and mechanical design analysis skills.
- Minimum lift floor to waist – 25 pounds; lift waist to shoulder – 25 pounds; pull – 40 pounds.
- Requires bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
The role is performed on a production floor exposed to moderate cold and heat, loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
Other InformationMinimum hourly wage: $24.00–$40.00. Full‑time. Local 475.
