Agilis is seeking an Instrumentation & Assembly Technician in our Palm Beach Gardens, Florida location. The successful candidates will utilize their knowledge, experience, and tools to effectively perform the installation, routing, and checkout of instrumentation to support program requirements.
- Calibrating and troubleshooting electrical instruments
- Ability to produce instrumented aerospace and industrial gas turbine hardware for component and/or engine assembly and testing. Training will be provided
- Installing, routing, and terminating thermocouples, pressure hypo tubes, and strain gauges on aerospace or industrial gas turbine hardware.
- Adhere to the Lab Quality System and other Quality Processes
- Assist in the development of new instrumentation and assembly techniques to enhance the product, reduce cost, and lead-time
Position Requirements
- Candidates must have a high school diploma;
Associate degree in related field and/or related experience - A&P License and jet engine instrumentation and/or assembly experience preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with tools, instrumentation, and/or assembly
- Background in electronics with experience in instrumentation, preferably aircraft instrumentation, or in NSMS probe hardware assembly
- Good communication skills with all levels of personnel and management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if required
- Willingness to travel, if required
