Quality Inspector

Metallized Carbon Corporation is seeking a QUALITY INSPECTOR to join our team in a fast‑paced carbon graphite manufacturing environment. This detail‑oriented inspector will inspect raw materials, in‑process components, and finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.

• Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections of carbon graphite products
• Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications
• Document inspection results accurately using quality records, reports, and checklists
• Identify and report non‑conformances; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Work closely with production and engineering to resolve quality issues
• Support calibration of inspection tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and comply with safety and quality policies
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or coursework in quality or manufacturing preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of mechanical inspection methods
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in the use of inspection tools and gauges
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem‑solving abilities
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is a plus

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and handle delicate materials carefully
• Manual dexterity required for operating precision instruments
