Who are we hiring?

The VP Internal Communications & Employee Engagement is responsible for shaping how employees across the MSG Family of Companies connect, celebrate and experience our culture. This role ensures employees across every location feel informed, recognized and connected to our mission, values and business priorities.

Reporting to the SVP Talent, you will serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders and lead a high-impact team responsible for all internal communications, recognition programs, engagement experiences and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) as part of an integrated strategy.

What will you do?
  • Lead the enterprise internal communications strategy for the MSG Family of Companies, reaching our 11,000+ employees across corporate offices and venues, ensuring clear, consistent and relevant messaging for frontline, back of house and corporate audiences.
  • Oversee all internal communication channels, including intranet (desktop and mobile app), email and digital signage.
  • Partner cross-functionally (HR, Legal, Marketing, PR/External Comms, Venue Operations, business leaders etc.) to ensure aligned messaging and programming across the employee experience.
  • Manage a unified enterprise editorial calendar that aligns messaging to business priorities and key moments.
  • Oversee meaningful, scalable engagement programming across diverse employee populations that celebrate milestones, recognize contributions and build community.
  • Own the strategy and evolution of our recognition platform and programs to help build a culture where appreciation is visible, values-driven and woven into everyday work.
  • Provide strategic oversight of Employee Resource Group (ERG) strategy as part of the broader engagement framework, ensure that ERGs are aligned with both cultural impact and business relevance.
  • Support and inspire a team of five+ and bring fresh thinking, bold ideas and strong point of view on the future of employee experience.
What do you need to succeed?
  • 12+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, HR communications, corporate communications or related fields
  • Exceptional writer with a strategic approach to messaging, timing, and channel selection
  • Able to manage a high volume of work, meet tight deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, employee-focused, and committed to delivering excellent employee experience
  • Demonstrated team leadership with the ability to drive projects forward in complex environments
  • Strong problem-solver who approaches communications through an employee-experience lens
  • Effective collaborator able to gain alignment and commitment across all levels of the organization
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive, high-energy attitude
Special Requirements :
  • Must have flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as business requires.
  • Must be willing to travel to other locations.

Pay Range

$160,000 — $275,000 USD
