Senior Cost Manager

Salary: $135,000 - $165,000 + Bonus

A well-established, partner-led construction consultancy is strengthening its New York Cost Management team and is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to support continued growth across the region.

This role is ideal for an experienced cost professional who wants greater autonomy, direct exposure to senior leadership, and a clear pathway toward Associate level within an independent partnership environment.

You will play a key role in the continued expansion of the New York cost management function, delivering high-profile projects across corporate interiors, commercial office, healthcare, life sciences, hospitality, residential, and mixed-use sectors. The business operates with a strong partner-led structure, meaning you will work closely with senior decision-makers who are actively involved in both client relationships and project delivery.

You will lead full pre- and post-contract cost management across multiple projects, taking ownership of client relationships and overall commercial delivery. Responsibilities include cost planning, budgeting, procurement support, financial reporting, risk management, and value engineering.

You will mentor and support junior team members while contributing to operational improvements and the strategic growth of the New York office.

Candidates should have 6-10+ years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying, with a proven track record of running projects independently. A background within a consultancy, owner’s representative environment, or a strong GC cost background is preferred.

The team is open to UK, Australian, or US-trained QS profiles. Applicants should be based in New York or open to relocation, with visa support available where required.
