Overview
We strive to enhance financial security daily. As Director of Internal Audit, you'll lead a global team to plan, execute, and oversee audits, projects, and consulting. This includes establishing audit procedures, scheduling resources, and managing co-sourcing partners. You'll provide independent assurance on governance, compliance, risk management, and controls across business units like investment operations, technology, and corporate functions. Collaborate with the Chief Auditor, senior management, and Audit Committee to align with regulatory and industry standards.
CoreResponsibilities
- Develop and execute a risk-based annual audit plan aligned with strategic priorities and regulations.
- Lead complex audits, including scoping, fieldwork, issue identification, and reporting.
- Oversee audits in investment operations, technology, cybersecurity, operational risk, trading, compliance, and vendor risk.
- Manage a team of auditors, setting high standards, providing feedback, coaching, and handling performance reviews, hiring, and development.
- Ensure team goals align with business strategy; recognize and reinforce progress.
- Collaborate with global managers on regular and special audits; set audit direction, supervise reports, and implement recommendations.
- Evaluate and improve risk management, controls, operations, and governance.
- Liaise with external auditors.
- Bachelor's in business, accounting, or related field; advanced degrees/certifications (CPA, CIA, CFA) preferred.
- 6-8+ years in internal audit or risk management.
- Experience leading global teams in financial services or asset management.
- Strong leadership, people management, and work ethic.
- Results-oriented; resolves problems and manages priorities effectively.

This role has a base salary range of 175k - 200k plus an annual bonus and benefits package.
