Position SummaryThe Assistant General Manager works alongside the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, support and develop staff, and deliver a welcoming, high-quality dining experience for every guest.
Responsibilities- Manage, lead and mentor floor managers and staff
- Ensure service is maintained at the utmost of quality levels
- Develop risk management and mitigation strategies
- Represent the GM in investigating, answering, and settling grievances in absence of General Manager
- Maintain all corporate mandates update and track daily reports
- Analyze staffing requirements, develop iteration plans, and assess opportunities for future growth
- Assist general manager with recruitment efforts
- Coach and train management staff
- Responsible for Team performance – morale, productivity, fiscal responsibility
- Monitor activities and expenses
- Assist in setting and monitoring sales forecasts and profitability reports
- Keep General Manager informed of sales and key issues
- Increasing sales through marketing, networking and incentives for staff to raise guest check average.
- Assists in maintaining budgeted revenues, cost of sales (COS), labor, supplies and operating cash flow (OCF)
- Reviews monthly profit and loss statements and acts on all variances.

- Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience in a full-service environment
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop management and hourly teams
- Strong understanding of daily restaurant operations and service standards
- Experience with scheduling, staffing analysis, and labor optimization
- Solid knowledge of restaurant financials, including sales, labor, COS, and P&L review
- Ability to maintain budgets, control expenses, and improve profitability
- Experience assisting with hiring, training, and performance management
Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
$95,000 - $115,000 / yearly
