Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with strong construction‑industry expertise to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate project accounting, and maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role will work closely with project managers, operations, and senior leadership to support financial decision‑making across multiple active projects.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month‑end close
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies
- Monitor project budgets, analyze variances, and provide financial insights to project managers
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and external reporting requirements
- Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial systems
- Collaborate with operations, estimating, and senior management on financial planning and forecasting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience, with required experience in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, retainage, and tax filing
- Proficiency in Quick Books, , Justworks
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Fluency in Chinese is required
- Familiarity with construction contracts is required
- Annual salary range: $100,000 – $120,000
