Inviting applications for the role of Vice President-Enterprise Risk Management

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to join our team. Reporting to Genpact’s Senior Vice President and Global Head of Risk Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of the enterprise‑wide risk management program. This role requires a combination of strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of risk management principles, as well as a passion for fostering a risk‑aware culture within the organization.

This role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across all business units and functions to support the company's strategic objectives. The Head of ERM works closely with senior leaders in business units, operations and other enterprise functions to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to risk management.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the enterprise risk management strategy, including the supporting framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior management and other key stakeholders to align risk management strategies and appetite with business objectives, defining risk appetite and risk tolerances.
  • Conduct risk assessments, including quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify, assess, and prioritize risks across all business units and functions.
  • Support development of risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness against defined risk appetite.
  • Develop ERM policies and practices.
  • Provide regular risk reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Foster a risk‑aware culture across the organization through training and communication initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to integrate risk management into strategic planning and decision‑making.
  • Identify, develop and deploy GRC solutions, including Gen AI capabilities, to deliver improved risk management insights and efficiencies.
  • Coordinate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure alignment of risk management activities.
  • Monitor external risk factors, including economic, regulatory, and industry trends, and leading practices in risk management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business administration, finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP) are desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of and experience with implementing enterprise risk management principles and practices in global organizations.
  • Outcome oriented with ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional global teams.
