As an Assistant Manager on the Environmental Services team, you’ll drive cleanliness and order across 80 acres—leading a dynamic team of porters to deliver pristine environments, seamless service and elevate residential living in NYC.

- Aid environmental services management in overseeing porters and sanitation personnel.
- Focus on team morale and empower team members while holding them accountable.
- Serve as the Supervisor on duty in absence of manager, handling their day‑to‑day responsibilities and administrative tasks.
- Responsible for inspecting all buildings and grounds of area in a twice a month inspection cycle.
- Inspect what is expected in buildings, sanitation routes, amenities and walkways for cleanliness and safety.
- Review inspection findings with porter to redirect, give advice, and ultimately help raise the cleanliness score of the buildings.
- Critically analyze procedures and assignments to achieve greater efficiency.
- Actively pursue attainable and measurable OKRs that will have a universal impact on the department.
- Utilize relationships with other departments to achieve common goals and accomplish special projects efficiently.
- Lead by example by living all of Beam’s cultural responsibilities to promote them through boots on the ground team members and up to leadership.
- Manage and inspect teams to effectively and safely remove snow during weather events. Be an ambassador of property by answering residents’ questions and be generally helpful while always representing our cultural responsibilities.
- Additional duties may be assigned by your supervisor.
- 3 - 5 years of leadership experience within Janitorial Services.
- Familiarity with Safety Culture, Nexus, Asana and Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Familiarity with union environment.
