Operations Manager
Support the Project Manager in the administration, coordination, and delivery of the multi-billion‐dollar HTP, ensuring schedule, cost, scope, quality, contract and stakeholder-governance requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist development and implementation of project plans (schedule, budget, resources).
Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction teams to integrate activities smoothly.
Monitor project expenses and budget adherence; review cost control metrics.
Support contract administration, ensure subcontractors comply with project terms.
Track project progress, identify delays or scope changes and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in risk identification and mitigation in coordination with risk management function.
Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders and represent the Project Manager when needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
7-15 + years in large scale infrastructure/rail/tunnel/General Agency Commercial CM projects.
Strong knowledge of construction delivery methods, scheduling, cost control, and contract management.
Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with transit agencies (e.g., Amtrak, NJ Transit, Port Authority of NY & NJ) and federal funding/regulation context (e.g., IIJA) and/or NYCHA, PANYNJ, or other agencies.
