This is an 8-month fixed-term contract opportunity for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our Finance leadership team, where you will shape and enhance financial reporting within a dynamic, high-growth environment. You’ll lead critical reporting and compliance processes, drive continuous improvement across systems and controls, and partner closely with senior stakeholders, auditors and cross-functional teams. It’s a hands‑on leadership role with real visibility and impact, supporting business performance, strengthening governance and developing a high‑performing financial reporting team.

What

you'll do as a Financial Reporting Manager
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts and reporting packs, driving continuous improvement and automation of reporting processes.
  • Oversee statutory and regulatory reporting including annual consolidated and entity financial statements, statutory returns and investor reporting requirements.
  • Manage external audit engagements end‑to‑end, acting as key liaison with auditors and coordinating interim, ad hoc and annual audit processes.
  • Own and enhance key financial processes (e.g. breakage, R&D, postpaid collections, insurance entity reporting), ensuring accuracy, compliance and alignment with business strategy.
  • Continuously review, improve and develop finance processes and procedures to support evolving business needs.
  • Lead and develop the Financial Reporting team, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching and fostering a high‑performance, values‑driven culture.
What you'll bring to the team
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with 3+ years’ relevant industry experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven people leader with experience managing and developing high‑performing finance teams.
  • Strong technical accounting capability, including assessing and implementing new accounting standards within internal policy and process frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders and cross‑functional partners.
  • Strategic mindset with sound judgement, able to support decision‑making, plan for future team needs and delegate effectively.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills, with the flexibility and drive to adapt in a high‑growth, evolving business environment (experience in a software or tech‑led company advantageous).
We know that looking for a new job can feel a bit daunting but don’t let a touch of imposter syndrome hold you back. Even if you don’t tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you!
