The OpportunityAs Vice President of Finance, you will lead the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Deal Desk functions during a critical phase of Flock Safety’s growth. This role is both strategic and hands‑on — responsible for building a world‑class team while serving as a trusted thought partner to the executive team. You’ll bring public‑market rigor to a high‑growth, private‑company environment, elevating forecasting precision, GTM financial strategy, and decision‑making across the business.
This is an opportunity for a proven finance leader to shape how Flock plans, measures, and scales — helping the company operate like a public company well before it becomes one.
World‑class FP&A leadership:
Deep experience leading FP&A at a company meaningfully larger and more complex than Flock, with a demonstrated ability to scale financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.Public‑market mindset:
Strong understanding of public company standards, including forecast accuracy, operating cadence, financial controls, and executive‑level reporting expectations.GTM & enterprise sales finance expertise:
Proven experience partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Rev Ops — owning or deeply supporting GTM FP&A, enterprise sales motions, capacity modeling, pipeline economics, and ROI analysis.High‑velocity operator & builder:

Establish strong relationships with the executive team, GTM leaders, and key cross‑functional partners.
Assess current FP&A and Deal Desk processes, forecasting accuracy, planning cadence, and financial infrastructure.
Identify immediate gaps and quick wins related to reporting clarity, forecasting rigor, and executive insights.
Lead improvements to forecast quality and operating cadence, incorporating public‑market‑level rigor where appropriate.
Partner with GTM leadership to refine sales capacity models, pipeline forecasting, and enterprise deal economics.
Define the future‑state FP&A operating model, including org design, tooling, and core planning processes.
