Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Conference Center Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high‑profile conference facility. This role focuses on calendaring and booking management, leading a front‑of‑house hospitality team, ensuring seamless onsite execution of events, and managing the physical space
. The ideal candidate is technically strong, process‑driven, and passionate about delivering an exceptional client and guest experience.
- Oversee all scheduling, booking, and utilization of conference spaces, ensuring efficient use of facilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event organizers, confirming requirements, and ensuring seamless execution day‑of.
- Implement and maintain scheduling systems to optimize room usage and resource allocation.
- Manage the onsite experience of meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring every detail is handled smoothly.
- Act as the floor leader during events, troubleshooting issues and coordinating with support teams to maintain a high level of service.
- Partner with catering, A/V, and facilities teams to ensure requirements are met.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a front‑of‑house team to deliver warm, professional, and engaging service.
- Ensure consistent adherence to service standards and brand values.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and foster a culture of hospitality and accountability.
- Utilize technology platforms (calendaring, booking, A/V systems, and collaboration tools) to ensure flawless execution.
- Establish and enforce operational processes to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with client standards.
- Train staff on the use of systems, workflows, and technology.
- Oversee the physical upkeep, cleanliness, and readiness of all conference areas.
- Partner with facilities and maintenance teams to address issues proactively (e.g., furniture, lighting, AV equipment, room layouts).
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure the conference center reflects a professional, client‑ready environment at all times.
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality, facilities management, or conference center operations.
- Strong background in calendaring and booking management (not just event planning).
- Proven leadership experience managing a front‑of‑house or guest‑facing team.
- Technically proficient in scheduling platforms, collaboration tools, and A/V systems.
- Exceptional organizational and problem‑solving skills; detail‑oriented with a process‑driven mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
