Overview
Our client is looking for a Head of Mail Operations to lead the transition of their mailroom capabilities from a third-party provider to an in-house operation. This is a unique opportunity to build out processes, systems, and teams from scratch while driving operational excellence in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities- Oversee the transition of mailroom operations from external vendors to an internal, in-house model.
- Research, purchase, and implement equipment to support high-volume mail scanning and digitization.
- Design efficient workflows and processes that ensure accuracy, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Build and manage a team responsible for day-to-day mailroom operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with broader business goals.
- Monitor performance metrics and continuously optimize processes for efficiency and quality.
- Proven experience in operations management, logistics, or similar roles (experience in mailroom or document processing is a plus).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and manage teams effectively.
- Hands-on experience with evaluating and implementing equipment or technology solutions.
- A process-driven mindset with expertise in designing scalable workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
