Property Manager

Overview

Penn South Capital is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to lead the daily oversight of our diverse residential and retail portfolio in Manhattan and Brooklyn. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, excels in tenant relations, and has a strong command of property operations and compliance.

• Manage day-to-day property operations and building performance
• Supervise onsite staff, including superintendents and support teams
• Respond to tenant inquiries and ensure timely resolution
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and vendor services
• Oversee lease renewals and tenant turnover preparation
• Track budgets, monitor expenses, and support financial planning
• Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with NYC housing laws

To be successful in this position, candidates should have:

• 2+ years of property management experience
• Strong expertise with property management systems (App Folio)
• Excellent communication skills and customer-centric approach
• Ability to navigate NYC regulatory requirements
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities
• A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
