Litigation Supervisor
Nonprofit Legal Defense Organization
New York City
Salary Range: $106,000 to $124,000 per year, based on experience
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to represent youth in family court proceedings
- Assist staff attorneys in developing their litigation skills
- Work with leadership on strategic planning, program development, and improvements for the organization
- Coordinate case practice and workgroup meetings
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address any operational issues
- Manage a team of 4-5 staff attorneys
- Approximately 4-6 years of relevant experience in family court and youth defense
- Experience managing staff
- JD required
- Experience with ancillary proceedings
- Strong teamwork and communications skills
- Critical thinker with excellent problem solving skills
