What You’ll Do
HELP USA is looking for a Program Manager for Crotona II, a 33 unit, DHS-funded family shelter, which is a satellite program of our larger Crotona site. Reporting to the Executive Director of Crotona and supervising a staff of five, you’ll be responsible for the overall development and management of all direct social service programs.
Responsibilities- Managing the day-to-day programmatic operation of the facility.
- Providing administrative and case management supervision to ensure sound casework practice, contractual compliance with program goals and objectives, and adherence to DHS and HELP policies and procedures.
- Recruiting, orienting, managing, and evaluating all program staff and providing appropriate training and supervision to ensure that all clients remain healthy and safe and are provided with quality services at all times.
- Developing and nurturing an environment that fosters staff satisfaction and retention.
- Assessing effectiveness of service delivery and identifying gaps in service.
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
- Minimum of five years’ management experience, including proven supervisory and staff development skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Compensation
Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage, prevailing wage, or exempt salary requirements under federal, state and local laws.
