Media Director

As part of our Activation & Optimization team—the Operators and Negotiators—you bring strategic leadership, marketplace expertise, and disciplined execution to the work of digital investment. This team turns insight into action, ensuring campaigns are designed with intention, delivered with precision, and optimized with care. Your role amplifies our ability to translate audience understanding, platform knowledge, and media strategy into measurable impact.

As a Director, Digital Investment, you guide complex digital and advanced TV investments, evolve partnership strategies, mentor cross-level talent, and serve as a senior-level advisor to clients. You bring a broad, integrative perspective—balancing immediate performance needs with long-term growth, innovation, and quality of craft. You are a culture carrier, a strategic thinker, and a steady operator who elevates both the work and the people delivering it.

• Lead digital and advanced TV investment strategy across OTT, CTV, OLV, Audio, and streaming partnerships—bringing direction, clarity, and rigor to every execution.
• Guide senior-level client relationships, presenting insights, strategic recommendations, and marketplace POVs that influence decision-making and drive results.
• Negotiate partner-level deal structures, enterprise pricing, and long-term agreements that support value, innovation, and organizational priorities.
• Develop investment roadmaps and marketplace strategies rooted in audience insight, platform capabilities, and business goals.
• Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Account, Analytics, Linear, and Ops teams to shape integrated media strategies, channel mix, and budget allocation.
• Mentor Associate Directors, Supervisors, and Buyers—helping elevate analytical thinking, strategic reasoning, communication, and leadership practices.
• Ensure consistency in team standards, operational rigor, trafficking accuracy, and executional excellence across the discipline.
• Maintain deep knowledge of platform updates, measurement trends, and emerging technologies—translating shifts into actionable guidance for the team and clients.
• Contribute to new business pitches, representing the investment POV with clarity, credibility, and confidence.

• At least 7 years years of digital investment and/or advanced TV leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in streaming ecosystems, digital video, partner negotiations, and platform capabilities.
• Ability to lead complex, multi-layered investment strategies with foresight and confidence.
• Executive-level communication that is clear, structured, and empathetic.
• Experience developing talent, building high-performing teams, and supporting leaders at multiple levels.
• Strong analytical acumen—capable of synthesizing data, identifying patterns, and shaping strategic narratives.
• Ability to manage complexity with calm, clarity, and intentionality, even in fast-paced environments.
• A collaborative spirit that strengthens relationships across disciplines, vendors, and leadership.

This is a hybrid position with three in-office days per week. To maximize team collaboration, we are considering candidates who can be based out of our offices in New York, Irvington, NY, or Durham, NC.

Our estimated range for this role is $130k - $150k

Compensation packages are based on the skill level and experience each candidate brings to their role. There may also be a more senior or junior position available that could be a better fit with your expertise. Each level has its own compensation range.
