About The Role
The Head of Media Investment & Activation is a leadership position responsible for developing, negotiating, and executing holistic media investment strategies across all LOBs (Eats, Mobility and Parent Brand) and channels (traditional, digital, social and emerging). This role oversees the activation of media plans, ensuring optimal efficiency, innovation, and ensuring the vision laid out by the strategy team is properly enacted.
The position reports to the Client Business lead (CBL) and collaborates closely with Strategy, Mar Sci, Operations, and all respective investment verticals. It is imperative to foster a strong relationship and understanding of all resources and products available within the agency to ensure success.
- Develop and implement multi-channel investment strategies that align with business objectives, audience insights, and brand priorities.
- Lead JBP negotiations and partnerships with media vendors to secure best-in-class value, premium inventory, and advantageous terms.
- Collaborate closely with the Sports Investment team to ensure maximizing the value of its official NFL partnership, while also identifying and evaluating opportunities with additional leagues.
- Oversee campaign activation and process development ensuring flawless execution, transparency, and adherence to brand safety and compliance.
- Co-Develop measurement roadmap with marketing sciences ensuring campaigns are driving key business outcomes.
- Foster strong relationships with agency partners, media owners, and internal stakeholders to unlock innovation and drive first-mover opportunities.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and cultural moments to maximize impact and relevance.
- Translate data and insights into actionable investment recommendations and executive-ready reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and upskill a high-performing media activation team.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen in media negotiation and partnership management.
- Ensure campaign activations are delivered on time, on budget, and of the highest quality.
- Provide clear, strategic communication to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Champion measurement, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and deploy AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual workload, and allow for greater emphasis on strategy development and thought leadership.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the media landscape and platform-specific best practices.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Compensation Range
$150,000—$250,000 USD
This role is hybrid
, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
