Staten Island Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Supervisor to oversee our dietary department and ensure our residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

Position: Dietary Supervisor

Location: Staten Island, NY

Shift: Full-Time | 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Salary: $26/hour

• Collaborate with the Director to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and maintain the highest standards of food safety and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee menu preparation and staff scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to dietary staff, ensuring adherence to departmental policies and timely, quality food service.
• Supervise Dietary Aides during meal service and cleanup, ensuring standards are consistently met and exceeded.
• Complete all required forms, reports, and documentation in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dietary or food service supervisory role.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Previous experience as a Dietary Supervisor in a nursing home setting preferred.
• Knowledge of dietary management, food safety, labor control, and staff scheduling.
• Familiarity with therapeutic diets, food restrictions, and kitchen operations.
• Serv Safe certification preferred.
