The Role:

Bloomberg Electronic Markets is seeking a Team Leader (TL) to lead our Rates Product group, spanning Interest Rate Derivatives, Government Bonds, Mortgages, Money Markets and Repo. This is a senior people-leader role with responsibility for shaping product strategy, developing talent, and advocating for the Rates business across Bloomberg and the broader industry.

As a Team Leader, you will manage and mentor a team of experienced Product Managers, empowering them to define and execute strategies across the Rates product suite. You will foster a high-performance, collaborative culture while helping individuals grow their impact, skills, and careers. Working closely with Engineering, Sales, Trading Solutions, and senior stakeholders, you will translate market structure evolution and client needs into a clear product vision and roadmap.

In this role, you will also serve as the senior representative of Bloomberg’s Rates business, engaging directly with key clients, industry participants, regulators, and senior Bloomberg leadership. You will help communicate product strategy, gather market insight, and ensure Bloomberg remains a trusted and influential partner in the evolving electronic trading landscape.

We’ll Trust You To:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers, with a strong focus on talent development, accountability, and career progression
• Set strategic direction for the Rates product suite and ensure alignment with broader Electronic Markets business objectives
• Secure and allocate engineering resources to deliver top priority product deliveries
• Engage directly with key clients, senior industry professionals, regulators, and senior Bloomberg leadership to represent product strategy and gather market insight
• Advocate for the Rates business internally and externally, balancing client needs, regulatory considerations, and commercial priorities
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Engineering, Sales, and Trading Solutions to define priorities and drive execution
• Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team
• Anticipate market and regulatory trends and guide the team in building innovative tools that meet current and future clients’ needs

You’ll Need to Have:

• 10+ years’ experience in Financial Technology with previous leadership experience
• Proven understanding of financial markets, investment management
• Domain expertise in Interest Rate Products and workflows
• Experience with business processes including Electronic Trading, Trade Capture, Pricing, Risk, P&L/Accounting and Regulatory
• Detail-oriented and deep analytical skills, being able to find patterns and communicate them effectively
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills including written, graphical, and verbal
• Strong credibility with clients, industry participants, regulators, and internal leadership

Salary Range = USD Annually+ Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
