K. Hovnanian is undergoing a company-wide transformation to unify, modernize, and scale its operating model to support sustained growth and innovation. At the center of this effort is the Corporate Strategy team, whose mission is to move the needle on the most impactful work across the company—by raising important issues to senior leadership, unlocking insights, enabling automation, and executing bold strategies that accelerate value creation.

The company aims to alter the status quo of homebuilding. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Corporate Strategy to lead enterprise-level strategic initiatives that drive measurable impact across KHov  operations, systems, and people. This role will shape solutions to our most complex business challenges, work cross-functionally to generate insights, streamline decision-making, and unlock long-term value. An early example of this work is the HOV1 unification, automation, and innovation effort, to which the Director will contribute significantly in its first assignment, including improvements to our Ways of Working through process redesign and technology enablement.

Job Overview + Opportunity

This role will be a major driver of the execution of the strategic transformation currently unfolding within KHOV, now in its second major iteration. You will be a well-rounded team player who can bring rigorous and practical problem-solving, strategy development, and strategy execution to bear: recognizing patterns, defining opportunities, and creating solutions to move us forward. The role will also look to the future for potential risks, opportunities, and enhancements and help steer and focus our senior leadership team on the most impactful activities and decisions.

The spectrum of work is defined by the imagination of our team, and prioritization will be a key challenge. You will be equal parts project manager, consultant, and entrepreneur, with the mission of making homes affordable for customers at all price points.

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Lead high-priority strategic projects that solve complex business problems and align with KHov9s long-term goals and strategic plan.
• Turn strategy into action by building clear implementation plans and driving them through to results.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration by leading and influencing teams that span divisions, corporate functions, and leadership levels

• Partner with senior executives, including the C-suite, to shape priorities, support decisions, and maintain alignment.
• Manage change across the organization, helping teams adopt new processes, behaviors, and ways of working.

Minimum Qualifications

• Comfort with ambiguity/abstract reasoning; ability to structure complex issues and communicate them clearly
• Extensive experience gathering, translating, and analyzing data into understandable takeaways
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
