Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager – 181648

Primary Responsibilities- Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline water/wastewater/water resources or other water-related projects
- Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
- Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
- Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites with project managers, technical professionals and other disciplines
- Coordinate staffing and workload through project development to complete documents on schedule
- Collaborate with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews
- Implement QA/QC procedures
- Execute training for personnel as established by strategic plans
- Supervise project staff and mentor less-experienced Project Managers
- Minimum of 15 years water/wastewater project engineering, including at least 5 years in project management, with complex projects (condition assessments, planning and design of collection systems, distribution systems and/or treatment plant projects)
- PE in New York or New Jersey
- Active participant in HDR’s employee-owned culture; candidates residing locally in NY/NJ area are preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 10 years related experience
- Minimum 5 years project management experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- MS Office and MS Project experience (Access a plus)
- Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
