• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline water/wastewater/water resources or other water-related projects
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
• Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites with project managers, technical professionals and other disciplines
• Coordinate staffing and workload through project development to complete documents on schedule
• Collaborate with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews
• Implement QA/QC procedures
• Execute training for personnel as established by strategic plans
• Supervise project staff and mentor less-experienced Project Managers

• Minimum of 15 years water/wastewater project engineering, including at least 5 years in project management, with complex projects (condition assessments, planning and design of collection systems, distribution systems and/or treatment plant projects)
• PE in New York or New Jersey
• Active participant in HDR’s employee-owned culture; candidates residing locally in NY/NJ area are preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10 years related experience
• Minimum 5 years project management experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• MS Office and MS Project experience (Access a plus)
• Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
