Role Overview:
The Wealth Management Solutions team enables our financial professionals to address accumulation goals of our clients through Eagle Strategies (Advisory) and NYLIFE Securities (Brokerage).
The individual in this role will be a key member of the Wealth Management Solutions Strategy team, which works closely with senior management to define and articulate business strategy, explore and drive growth and efficiency opportunities for the business, and support oversight and execution of strategic initiatives.
The individual should be self-driven and be able to work independently with minimal supervision, develop high quality deliverables and maintain transparency.
What You’ll Do:
- Establish appropriate governance structure and processes to define, prioritize and execute key strategic initiatives and facilitate structured reviews of the portfolio of strategic initiatives
- Lead and program manage execution of key business initiatives by forming collaborative partnerships with colleagues across business and functional areas (including technology, digital, finance, operations, regulatory and legal, compliance, and various teams)
- Lead research (internal and external) and analytics to determine key strategic areas (products, services, distribution), lead business case and plan development and articulate findings to key stakeholders
- Develop pragmatic solutions to key strategic issues, design capabilities and present recommendations to senior leadership, and play a key role in informing and influencing senior management decision making
- Engage in ad-hoc strategy and research projects identified by the group or senior management
- Conduct comprehensive research on competitors and the broader wealth management industry and develop and communicate unique perspectives on emerging trends
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in roles requiring in-depth research and analysis, leading complex cross-functional initiatives, and building presentations for senior management
- Desired backgrounds include management consulting, and/or corporate strategy
- Experience in the financial services industry and wealth management is a plus, but not required
- Thought-leader - strong familiarity with industry trends and best practices, and a perspective on how to advance the current state-of-play
- Strong analytical, communication (written and oral), and project and process management skills required
