Senior Property Manager

A residential real estate organization is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of an affordable housing portfolio
, including Supportive Housing, HUD-regulated, and Tax Credit communities
.

• Oversee daily operations of an assigned affordable housing portfolio with a focus on compliance, resident service, and financial performance
• Supervise on-site management staff to ensure deadlines, procedures, and protocols are met
• Maintain positive tenant/landlord relations and address resident issues professionally and promptly
• Review tenant ledgers and subsidy registers on a monthly basis
• Monitor and enforce lease compliance and violations in coordination with legal partners
• Ensure completion of annual unit inspections and recertifications
• Respond to audits, inspections, and inquiries from local, state, and federal agencies
• Collaborate closely with facilities leadership, superintendents, and maintenance teams regarding building operations and inspections
• Assist in the certification and clearance of violations issued by municipal agencies
• Review purchase orders for accuracy and operational necessity
• Maintain clear, professional written and verbal communication with internal teams and external stakeholders

• 3+ years of experience managing affordable residential rental properties
• Working knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and Supportive Housing program requirements
• Familiarity with HUD EIV reporting
• Strong understanding of NYS Rent Stabilization, NYC Landlord-Tenant Law, and Fair Housing regulations
