Associate Director - Legal Marketing, BD & Communications Recruitment - US

We are excited to be supporting a leading Am law firm to hire an experienced business development professional who would be keen to move into client development role. The role will be working with an impressive Associate Director based in New York, we would welcome interest from those at BDM and Senior management level.

Within the role you will be supporting clients across the funds, asset management and insurance area, working to implement and deliver effective client relation plans for the firm. We believe this would interest someone who is keen to explore the idea of moving away from a traditional practice/sector role and join a firm with an established global client function.

Responsibilities
  • Working with the leadership team and the Associate Director, implement a client relationship plan with the firms global client base, enhancing the existing relationships and creating the ability to monitor new business opportunities for the firm too.
  • In collaboration with the marketing and business development leadership team, effectively manage the budget for the client development initiatives, reporting on ROI and looking at ways the firm can positively enhance their client program.
  • Lead on activities aimed at raising individual partners profiles and the profiles of specific groups you are working with.
  • Be proactive in taking on research led tasks for the industries you are supporting, keeping the partners up to date on trends and ensuring the firm can position and react to any changes in the market.
  • Provide oversight and strategic input to the pitch process for bids that are relevant to the group, working with the central bids team to coordinate the process.
