Position SummaryThe Custodian Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑functioning environment across all TCAH facilities while managing the daily operations of TCAH’s clothing boutique. This dual‑role position ensures excellence in janitorial services and an organized, welcoming retail experience for clients accessing the boutique.
Responsibilities- Supervise daily boutique operations, merchandising, and customer service.
- Supervise and coordinate boutique staff schedules, assignments, and performance.
- Ensure boutique displays are appealing, organized, and reflect seasonal or programmatic themes.
- Receive, sort, and assess clothing donations or inventory, maintaining standards of quality and hygiene.
- Coordinate with the Benefit Access Office to fulfill clothing requests from clients as needed.
- Maintain records of inventory flow, including inventory control.
- Use Salesforce to record client distributions and boutique performance metrics.
- Train and supervise boutique staff and volunteers to ensure professionalism and high‑quality service.
- Supervise and coordinate custodial staff schedules, assignments, and performance across multiple locations.
- Ensure all areas—including restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common spaces—are cleaned and sanitized according to organizational standards and public health guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess cleanliness, identify issues, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Order and manage janitorial supplies and ensure safe storage and usage of chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with facility and program managers to support special events, emergency cleanups, or facility maintenance needs.
- Maintain logs of daily cleaning activities and incidents.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in facilities or janitorial supervision.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lead diverse teams, provide coaching, and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Comfortable working in both a client‑facing retail environment and behind‑the‑scenes operations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
