POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Merchandising is responsible for leading the merchandising strategy for the ELOQUII and June & Vie brands to achieve the company’s strategic goals. This role oversees the development and execution of an extensive assortment of women’s apparel in a wide range of sizes and colors, ensuring alignment with brand vision, customer needs, and profitability objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the merchandising strategy to achieve sales, margin, and profitability goals for ELOQUII and June & Vie.
• Oversee product line development, ensuring the right mix of key items and fashion offerings that reflect brand identity and deliver on fit, quality, and value.
• Identify growth opportunities and guide the development of new products to meet evolving customer needs.
• Partner closely with Creative, Design, Global Sourcing, Planning, E-Commerce, Marketing, and Technical Design to ensure seamless execution of brand and merchandising strategies.
• Analyze market trends, customer insights, and performance metrics to inform assortment planning and business decisions.
• Establish and implement both short- and long-term objectives that support overall brand strategy and positioning.
• Drive innovation in product presentation, pricing, and storytelling across digital and print channels to inspire customer engagement.
• Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and performance management to develop a high-performing merchandising team.
• Train, and develop Product Managers to ensure deep category expertise and alignment with brand goals.
• Maintain awareness of competitive activity and best practices within the market to continually enhance product and business strategies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive merchandising experience within the apparel industry, preferably in women’s categories.
• Proven track record of leading merchandising teams within a branded retail business of significant volume and scale. Experience in both digital and catalog merchandising preferred.
• Strategic, results-driven leader with strong business acumen and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to translate product vision into profitable results.
• Demonstrated success driving innovation and executing effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  
  Insightful, data-informed decision-maker who blends creativity with commercial sensibility.
• Deep understanding of merchandising fundamentals, including trend, price-value equation, product quality, and customer fit.
