Administrative Management Supervisor Glimmerglass Festival Cooperstown, NY

The Glimmerglass Festival seeks Company Management Supervisors for its 2026 Summer Festival season.

The Company Management Department is responsible for the logistics of housing seasonal staff, and transporting employees who do not have personal vehicles to work-related activities. The Company Management Supervisor reports to the Director of Company Management, works alongside one other Supervisor, and works directly with an Assistant Company Manager, Housing Coordinator, Housekeeping Staff, and Company Management Apprentices. The Company Management Supervisor is responsible for basic supervision of company-owned housing, ensuring all residents are provided with a safe and accepting environment, communicating and enforcing the “house rules” of the company-owned properties and company vehicles, handling room lockouts and small furniture/equipment checkout, and preparing work orders to resolve any mechanical or repair issues.

They will oversee the scheduling of Company Management Staff and Apprentices, daily transportation needs of staff members without vehicles, and weekly convenience runs to the grocery store and laundromat. Supervisors will assist with all local and ground transportation for seasonal employees as needed. Position will be on-call for any housing or transportation-related emergencies. Experience in Company Management or Residential Life welcomed.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are highly desired. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve quickly and benevolently is essential. Must be willing to abide by Glimmerglass Festival’s current and potential future health & safety policies. Much of this role is spent in a seated position but will frequently be asked to climb stairs in various domiciles and office spaces.

Transportation of company members in company vehicles is an important part of this position. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.

This position runs April 26th to August 30th, 2026. $18.00/Hr. Eligible for overtime. Housing provided.
