HVAC Project Manager

A well-established and reputable mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead commercial installation projects from pre-construction through closeout. This is an opportunity to join a respected firm known for high standards of execution, technical excellence, and long-term relationships across the building trades.

The Project Manager will coordinate multiple HVAC projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery regarding schedule, financial performance, safety, and quality. This role requires strong field collaboration, technical decision-making, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables from kickoff through turnover
• Interpret and communicate project plans, specifications, and scopes of work
• Direct and coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and associated trades
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer representatives
• Prepare, review, and distribute technical documentation such as submittals, IOMs, and reports
• Oversee project financials including invoicing, cost tracking, progress payments, and change orders
• Draft, negotiate, and administer change documentation as scope evolves

• Proven background managing commercial HVAC installation projects
• Working knowledge of hydronics, air distribution, VRF systems, and building automation
• Technical familiarity with equipment such as air handlers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, VAVs, and VFDs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead teams toward shared project objectives
• Demonstrated discipline, resilience, and commitment to ongoing technical development

Prior experience in commercial mechanical contracting or related industry

Competitive salary range: $60,000 – $100,000
