Overview
Oversee the daily operation of the Regional Construction installations. Oversee all project managers, and all technology installs (NEWC and R3) within the region. Responsible for installation quality, timeliness, and project completion for all NSE/ACT jobs within the territory. Hold the field team and subcontractors accountable, while serving as the key point of contact for large-scale REIT/National Account installations.
Responsibilities- Lead/schedule ACT PMs and Installer Leads/Crew Supervisions for all new construction and R3 ACT installations.
- Manage Installers ensuring they are installing NSE, and ACT materials according to ACT specifications and standards with the ability to understand multiple different product lines and the installation means and methods.
- Ability to manage a high volume of projects concurrently in a fast‑paced atmosphere.
- Work in conjunction with the estimating team, PMs, and RCMs to proactively manage project and customer communication.
- Schedule and oversee all contracted ACT and NSE site visits.
- Enforce all company policies and standards in accordance to ACT’s operations regulations.
- Establish and maintain a sub‑contract network.
- Attend customers’ pre‑bid and pre‑construction meetings as required by Janus/NSE/ACT customers.
- Development of scope of work through the field management software, to include detailed measurements and assessment of the requested work.
- Identify & qualify vendors, as well as contract and ultimately monitor installer work performance.
- Develop and maintain schedules of work and forecasts for completing projects within the allotted time frames.
- Research and implement products, processes, and services for continuous improvements in the delivery of results.
- Resolution of minor violations and ordinances and regulations imposed by governmental organizations.
- Process and approve invoices, draws, and other payments.
- Provide emergency response as requested by ACT customers.
- Enforce appropriate OSHA requirements and Janus safety policies & processes.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience
- Highly proficient with technology and low voltage wired systems and products.
- Experience in the development of scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Possess a customer‑centric attitude with the ability to collaborate
- Read & interpret blueprints.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
- Proficient in MS Office Suite of programs - Word, Excel, Outlook, Project
- Ability to learn new software as needed
- Must be highly mobile and willing to travel extensively as the workload dictates
- Minimum OSHA 10 certification.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk
- Regularly required to walk around active construction sites and climb stairs in inclement weather
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
