Our client is a global video technology company specializing in solutions for content and media operators worldwide. They are now looking for a Finance Manager (Bookkeeper) to support and oversee financial, administrative, and office operations.
Salary/Hourly Rate:$70k - $90k
Position Overview:The Finance Manager (Bookkeeper) will play a critical role in managing the company's financial operations while also supporting office management, HR functions, and executive administration. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can operate across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager (Bookkeeper):- Oversee financial management activities, including basic bookkeeping functions such as AP/AR, journal entries, and coordination with a third-party payroll processor.
- Manage financial operations including paying business expenses, invoicing clients, and maintaining accurate records in Quick Books Online.
- Monitor office expenditures, manage vendor and office contracts, and implement cost-saving measures to prevent overspending.
- Maintain organized financial files, contracts, and records to ensure compliance and accessibility.
- Support financial reporting processes, including familiarity with P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, and collaborate with external accountants.
- Serve as office and building manager, overseeing daily office operations and ensuring a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
- Own and oversee office maintenance, supplies ordering, and overall office culture.
- Provide administrative scheduling and executive support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel booking, and expense reporting.
- Lead HR-related functions including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee support.
- Support Executives and Senior Managers with ad hoc projects, interview coordination, and special initiatives.
- 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in financial management and bookkeeping functions.
- Proficiency in Quick Books and HRIS software.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Office 365.
- Experience providing executive-level administrative support.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to multitask across departments with strong time management and adaptability.
- Willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Industry experience within technology, media, or startup environments.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
