A premier, award-winning Demand-Side Platform (DSP) specializing in highly regulated sectors is seeking a motivated Senior Customer Success Manager (CSM) to lead our Political Vertical. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to political campaigns, agencies, and advocacy groups, ensuring they maximize the impact of their programmatic media spend.
You will manage a diverse portfolio ranging from self-serve to managed-service accounts, serving as a trusted advisor and technical expert in the fast‑paced, high‑stakes world of political advertising.
Key ResponsibilitiesRelationship Management: Serve as the primary post‑sale point of contact. Drive client satisfaction, retention, and long‑term growth by translating campaign goals into actionable platform strategies.
Onboarding & Enablement: Lead training sessions for new clients, focusing on platform navigation, best practices, and the nuances of political programmatic execution.
Strategic Advisory: Act as a subject‑matter expert on voter audience segmentation, inventory types (CTV, OTT, Display, Mobile), and multi‑channel targeting.
Compliance Oversight: Provide guidance on advertising regulations (FEC and state‑level) to ensure all political campaigns meet strict legal and platform standards.
Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner with AdOps, Sales, and Product teams to advocate for client needs and influence the platform’s roadmap based on market feedback.
5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Ad Operations within the AdTech industry.
Deep Programmatic Expertise: Hands‑on experience with DSP platforms is required.
Political Tech Background: Direct experience working within a political agency or a political‑focused tech firm is required
.Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of FEC and state‑level political advertising regulations.
Client Versatility: Proven ability to manage both high‑touch managed‑service accounts and high‑volume self‑serve clients.
Data Literacy: Ability to analyze campaign performance data and provide actionable optimization insights.
