Night Site Safety Manager – Structure Tone
Location:
New York City, NY (Night shift)
- Implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Monitor effectiveness of the safety management system and progress against safety performance standards.
- Lead and provide functional management for safety personnel.
- Plan and implement training programs for managers and employees on site safety practices, fire prevention, and correct handling of hazardous materials.
- Inspect organization facilities to detect existing or potential hazards, determine corrective actions, and follow up to ensure implementation.
- Ensure prompt notification of significant accidents and incidents to the business and STO and participate in investigations.
- Compile and submit accident reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Produce safety management reports monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Review accident/incident reports, identify trends and ensure appropriate responses.
- Regularly meet with safety personnel to monitor management of the function.
- Report on safety performance at management team meetings.
- Consult and liaise with Corporate Safety Director on safety management in the division/business unit.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10–20 years of general construction experience.
- OSHA 30‑hour training required.
- NYC Licensed Site Safety Manager (SSM) / Construction Site Fire Safety Manager (CSFSM) credentials preferred.
Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
