Corporate Controller

HHM Talent is assisting a client search for a Corporate Controller. This position is located in College Point, NY.

• Oversee accounting operations across multiple business lines
• Lead and restructure the centralized accounting office to improve workflows, organization, and efficiency
• Manage and support a team of 6 in the centralized accounting office
• Review financial statements and reports prior to submission to executive leadership
• This role will not submit financials directly to OEMs - The financials will be reviewed and forwarded to the COO
• Ensure timely and accurate month end close across all entities
• Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Partner with leadership to support acquisitions, integrations, and future growth initiatives
• Maintain a high level of organization and visibility across all financial operations

• Strong multi-entity automotive accounting experience
• Proven leadership experience managing centralized accounting teams
• Highly organized with the ability to restructure and scale accounting operations
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, growth oriented environment
• Local to the College Point, NY area and able to work on-site full time

• $150,000+ (commensurate with experience)
• Open to structuring a performance based bonus tied to on time month end close and operational improvements
• Benefits package currently in development as the company expands further into the OEM space
