Assistant Club Manager (AMIT) – BJ’s Wholesale Club
As an Assistant Club Manager in Training, you will work closely with the Club Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team across merchandizing, perishables, or member experience departments. You will drive club performance, foster a culture of growth, and prepare to step into a permanent Assistant Club Manager role.

Partner with the Club Manager and other leaders to oversee daily operations across assigned departments. - Recruit, hire, and onboard:
Manage the full hiring process and certification training. - Oversee labor planning and scheduling:
Create effective schedules aligned with business trends. - Drive sales, inventory control, and shrink management:
Ensure in-stock conditions and accurate inventory. - Champion Member Experience Standards:
Model GAA, GOLD, and LAST service standards. - Execute operational readiness:
Keep all departments clean, stocked, and ready for business. - Lead department talent management:
Conduct reviews, mentor leaders, and support succession planning. - Utilize tools and reporting:
Use club-specific tools to identify opportunities. - Ensure compliance and safety:
Enforce food safety, sanitation, OSHA, RIST, and cold chain compliance. - Support special initiatives and transitions:
Coordinate merchandising transitions and special projects. - Maintain equipment and facilities:
Monitor and address equipment issues. - Perform cross-functional support:
Provide leadership across departments as needed. - Utilize BJ’s MY WORK System:
Execute daily tasks assigned via internal systems. - Operate equipment safely:
