Alpha Alternatives – Senior Manager – Alternative Credit Advisory Lead, North America OverviewAlpha Alternatives, a part of Alpha Group, is a fast-growing global consulting firm, focused on leading digital and operational transformation projects for the alternative investment industry (private equity, real estate, private credit, and infrastructure). We help clients identify and resolve operational and technology challenges within alternative investments and financial services.
The RoleSenior Manager to support the growth of our alternative credit client segment by leading advisory engagements, target operating model and roadmap definition, and supporting Partners with client-facing business development. Lead engagements for investors in syndicated loans, direct lending, and asset-backed debt to define an optimal technology and operations future state and implement it. Drive internal initiatives to expand Alpha’s capabilities in alternative credit consulting.

You will lead client engagement teams focusing on technology and operational strategy, and implementing recommendations in complex transformation programs. You will manage work streams including current state / future state analysis, strategic design, initiative prioritization, sequencing, road mapping, and phased delivery. Build strong client relationships and mentor junior consultants. Stay at the forefront of innovative solutions in Private Markets technology and operations.
Responsibilities- Lead engagements to define technology and operational strategy for clients.
- Manage work streams: current state / future state analysis, design, prioritization, sequencing, road mapping, delivery.
- Develop and maintain trusted client relationships and contribute to business development.
- Coach and develop junior staff and lead a small team with accountability for deliverables.
- 7+ years in management consulting or change roles with alternative credit, investment, finance, or operations experience.
- Knowledge of credit instruments (Direct Lending, Broadly Syndicated Loans, Term Loans, Revolvers, DDTL, CLO, ABS, MBS, etc.) and investment products including CLO, Insurance SMA.
- Experience leading project execution and guiding clients through technology transformation initiatives.
- Experience delivering Target Operating Models, BRDs, Process Flows, capability matrices, roadmaps, data dictionaries, IT architecture, data flow diagrams.
- Experience defining and tracking metrics (OKRs/KPIs).
- Strong communication and storytelling skills; ability to present data-driven insights.
- Willingness to travel within North America.
