Our client, a leading General Contractor and Construction Manager in New York City, is urgently seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-profile commercial interiors projects across corporate, retail, academic, and healthcare sectors. Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager - Commercial Interiors:

• Lead end-to-end execution of interior fit-outs on time, on budget, and built to the highest standard.
• Build and manage project schedules using MS Project; anticipate challenges and drive proactive solutions.
• Oversee subcontractor scope reviews, contract execution, and day-to-day coordination.
• Manage all documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawings, and Procore logs.
• Ensure full site compliance with safety protocols and local regulations.
• Communicate directly with ownership, architects, and consultants to manage expectations and provide updates.
• Troubleshoot issues on-site, maintain progress tracking, and deliver exceptional closeouts.

A successful Senior Project Manager - Commercial Interiors should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience managing NYC commercial interiors projects.
• Proficiency in MS Project and Procore (required).
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of NYC building codes, permitting, and compliance.
