Overview
Associate Director, Rights Management - The Orchard. Reporting to the Senior Director, Rights Management, this role oversees the team that performs tasks pertaining to claiming and monetization on fingerprinting platforms (You Tube, Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, Sound Cloud) and provides high-level internal support to relationship managers to resolve client issues and escalations promptly.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise the activities, performance, and productivity of direct reports in NYC, London, Mumbai, and an offshore team; ensure accurate review, updating, and auditing of content on fingerprinting platforms and in internal tools
- Partner with internal departments (relationship management, accounting, product development) to identify, report on, and resolve issues while delivering exceptional client support
- Build and maintain relationships with partners and clients, communicating clearly and frequently to resolve issues promptly
- Maintain strong knowledge of proprietary platform technology and related processes; disseminate information to the company and team; quickly learn new platforms and develop processes as needed
- Collaborate with team members and management to identify inefficiencies, communicate roadblocks, and suggest improvements for department projects and processes
- Work cross-functionally to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue
- 5+ years of work experience in the music or entertainment industry, preferably with a focus on customer support; 3+ years in a supervisory role
- Experience with CMS platforms such as You Tube CMS, Tik Tok Media Match, Sound Cloud Deck, or Facebook Rights Manager
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting/exceeding performance goals while managing multiple deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong follow-up and follow-through
- Comfort in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a positive attitude and ability to motivate others
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and driving them to completion
- Proficiency in Google, Apple, and Microsoft applications, particularly Excel

The anticipated annual base salary is presented as a range and may vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
New York Pay Range: $80,000 — $85,000 USD
