Assistant Facilities Manager at Five Iron Golf plays a key role in maintaining the operational excellence, safety, and overall functionality of the venue. This position supports the Facilities Manager in overseeing building systems, managing repairs and maintenance, coordinating vendor services, and ensuring that the environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff. The Assistant Facilities Manager serves as a hands‑on leader, balancing preventative maintenance with day‑to‑day operational needs.
Key Responsibilities Manual Labor & Physical Tasks- Carry out hands‑on work including lifting, moving, assembling, and setting up equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
- Use basic hand and power tools to complete repairs, adjustments, and facility improvements.
- Support day‑to‑day upkeep through painting, patching, minor construction, and other general labor tasks.
- Perform routine manual labor including light carpentry, plumbing, electrical fixes, and general repairs.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and ensure facility spaces remain clean, safe, and functional.
- Support repairs as needed on simulators, furniture, and other equipment.
- Assist in monitoring, inspecting, and maintaining building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, fire safety, simulators, etc.). Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, or facility improvements.
- Perform light repairs and preventative maintenance; coordinate larger projects with vendors or contractors.
- Ensure golf simulators, technology, and entertainment equipment remain in excellent working order.
- Respond promptly to facility‑related emergencies and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Support compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and first‑aid supplies are up to code.
- Assist in training porters/handymen and other team members on facility procedures.
- Provide coverage and support to the Facilities Manager as needed.
- Prepare status updates and reports on facility conditions, projects, and service requests.
- Knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance, and vendor coordination.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to perform light repairs.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Leadership ability with a collaborative team mindset.
- Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and emergencies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods. Comfortable working in various environments (indoor golf simulators, kitchens, storage rooms, mechanical areas).

Pay
: $25-$30 per hour
