Salary Range: $22.33 - $22.33
Position SummaryUnder general direction, the Porter is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of Columbia University apartment buildings and the grounds area.
Responsibilities- Cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds complex: elevators, stairways, corridors, windows, floors, laundry rooms.
- Trimming trees and shrubs, and lawn maintenance.
- Sweeps and hoses sidewalks.
- Removes snow and spreads salt as needed.
- Heavy lifting may be required.
- High school diploma and/or equivalent.
- Knowledge of building and grounds maintenance is a plus.
