Job Title:
Floor Care Technician
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Floor Care Technician to maintain floors and common areas in our healthcare facility. This role is essential to ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
Responsibilities:Daily cleaning, stripping, waxing, and burnishing of floors
Carpet cleaning and pressure washing of shower areas as needed
Cleaning elevator tracks and expansion joints
Safe operation of floor care equipment and proper chemical usage
Maintaining floor care logs and submitting equipment work orders
Assisting housekeeping as needed during emergencies
High school diploma preferred
Ability to lift 25+ lbs and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a geriatric healthcare setting
Willing to follow safety, infection control, and facility policies
