We are seeking a dedicated Residential Porter to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of a portfolio of Manhattan walk‑up residential properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning, maintenance, and custodial tasks to ensure a safe, attractive, and well‑maintained environment for residents and staff. • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across residential facilities.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Assist with custodial tasks related to building maintenance, including light repairs and upkeep of common areas.
• Support facilities maintenance by addressing minor repairs and reporting larger issues to management.
• Carry out residential painting projects as needed to enhance property appearance.
• Utilize commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to ensure thorough cleaning of all assigned areas.
• Maintain safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Support industrial or specialized cleaning projects when required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Skills in floor care, buffing, commercial cleaning, residential painting, and industrial cleaning are highly desirable.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently or as part of a team.
• Prior porter experience or similar roles in residential or commercial settings is a plus.
