Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning/Porter to join our team at our brand-new upscale fitness facility in Jackson Heights. The Cleaning/Porter will play a vital role in ensuring our members enjoy a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is proactive, and understands the importance of maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in a luxury fitness setting.

• Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the facility, including locker rooms, restrooms, studios, fitness floors, and common areas.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
• Monitor and restock supplies such as paper products and sanitizers.
• Remove trash and recycling in a timely and sanitary manner.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to management.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring member spaces are clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist with light porter duties, including moving equipment or supplies as needed.

• Previous cleaning, janitorial, or porter experience preferred (fitness, hospitality, or luxury environment a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow schedules and instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
