Foreman, Maintenance​/Cleaning, Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a Foreman to oversee the 250 Vesey Street floors and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. We are looking for someone with the ability to prioritize, and with organizational skills to accomplish all work.

The goal is to keep the 250 Vesey Street floors in clean and orderly condition.

Union: 32BJ SEIU

Pay: $34.76 per hour.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No nell school diploma, GED, or college degree required
• One year of prior related work experience required; on‑the‑job training provided

• One year of prior leadership experience preferred

• Work as directed by ABM procurement and client to complete any and all Foreman/periodic cleaning as per contract
• Delegate individual responsibilities and projects to crew members
• Oversee training of new crew members
• Inspect all floors including all Kitchen/Pantry areas to comply with CDC guidelines
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Notify managers concerning the needs for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Listen to instructions from a manager or client and follow them to meet expectations
• Write specifications, orders, and maintain an inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment
