Be the Heart of the Building

We’re looking for a reliable, hard‑working Porter at 35 Hudson Yards
, one of our luxury buildings in Manhattan West, to keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming. You’ll support the building from ground up—inside and out—by keeping common areas clean, assisting with move‑ins, and helping maintain high standards. • Grounds & Common Areas – Sweep sidewalks, terraces, lobbies, and hallways; empty trash/recycling bins; respond quickly to spills or safety hazards.
• Cleaning & Detailing – Clean polish floors, glass, mirrors, brass, woodwork; deep clean as needed (carpet, grout, waxing); maintain laundry room, fitness center, management offices; report damage or safety issues to Resident Manager.
• Building Maintenance Support – Clean stairwells, service areas, compactor room; change light bulbs and help prepare units for new residents; log tasks and report ongoing issues via building systems.
• Resident & Concierge Support – Cover front desk during concierge breaks; monitor service doors during move‑ins/deliveries; assist with unit inspections and ensure space look great for tours.
• Special Projects & Events – Set up and clean shared spaces like lounges, rooftops, gyms; support building events and gatherings by helping with logistics and cleanup; keep shared spaces welcoming and refreshed.
• Sustainability & Safety – Keep elevators, trash rooms, amenity areas clean and odor‑free; support recycling and compost programs; perform scent and cleanliness checks; participate in team meetings and be open to cross‑training.

This is a full‑time temporary position (3‑5 months).

Saturday: 4:00 am – 1:30 pm
Sunday – Wednesday: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
Thursday and Friday: OFF

$29.77 hourly

• 1‑2 years prior janitor, cleaner, or porter experience.
• Must be reliable and have experience working with cleaning chemicals.
• Must be a team player and able to work with little supervision.
• Excellent time management skills and work ethic needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8‑hour shift.
• Light maintenance knowledge is a plus.
