Cleaning Associate

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Cleaning Associate supporting residential homes and apartments in New York, NY. The Cleaning Associate is responsible for delivering consistent, high‑quality cleaning services across private residences, ensuring each home meets Certified Cleaners’ cleanliness and care standards.

Responsibilities include performing routine and deep‑cleaning services in apartments and homes, maintaining kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, safely operating and handling cleaning tools and products, and ensuring all assigned residences are left organized, sanitized, and presentable. The Cleaning Associate will respond to client‑specific cleaning requests, restock and track cleaning supplies, and promptly report any maintenance issues, damages, or concerns that require escalation.

This role requires professionalism, respect for client privacy, and the ability to work independently while representing the Certified Cleaners brand inside client homes.

• Experience cleaning residential homes and/or apartments (professional or private)
• Strong communication skills with a customer‑first mindset when interacting with homeowners, tenants, and residents
• Ability to safely use common residential cleaning equipment and products
• Basic awareness of minor household maintenance issues and the ability to report concerns appropriately
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow detailed cleaning checklists
• High attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team when assigned
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping, or home services is a strong plus
