Workshop Technician / Timer / Estimator / Watchmaker
The client is hiring across its After‑Sales Service Workshops in New York, Dallas, and Pennsylvania. We are seeking individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail to join our team in various technical roles, including Workshop Technicians, Timers, Estimators, and Watchmakers. Candidates from diverse precision‑based backgrounds—such as watchmaking, jewelry, aerospace, medical device assembly, or other fine mechanical fields—are encouraged to apply.
All applicants will be assessed through a bench test and placed at the appropriate level based on skill and experience. Full training is provided for high‑potential hires, with a clear path for career growth.
- Disassemble, assemble, lubricate, and adjust watch components
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in timepieces
- Support service operations in a state‑of‑the‑art workshop
- Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols
- Maintain high standards of quality, precision, and documentation
- High School diploma/GED required
- Strong hand‑eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Experience in watchmaking, jewelry, micro‑mechanics, or similar precision work
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Certification from an accredited watchmaking program (required for Watchmaker roles)

Pay range: $51,000 – $81,000 per year. The actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. The range may be modified in the future.
Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), life, disability, and ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project receive paid sick leave.

Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce’s sole discretion until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
