Since 1964, Peek 'n Peak Resort has been recognized in the Northeast region as an all-seasons family destination. The resort is comprised of 105 acres, 27 slopes, and 4 terrain parks with varying levels of difficulty. Travelers from PA, OH, NY, and Canada visit the resort for affordable recreation, such as snow sports (skiing, snowboarding, terrain features, bag jump, tubing), golf, the adventure park, the spa, and events.

The Snowmaker position is responsible for operating snow making equipment to produce artificial snow on ski slopes.

• Monitor fluid levels and make necessary adjustments using the appropriate fluids.
• Perform minor machinery repairs and report any major issues to the Foreman.
• Safely connect hoses and initiate operation of air and water guns.
• Aim and adjust guns to ensure optimal snow quality and coverage.
• Safely disconnect hoses if the guns become frozen.
• Properly connect fan guns to electrical boxes.
• Shut down and drain water from the guns as needed.
• Transport guns and equipment safely around the slopes.
• Identify assigned hydrants on the hill.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• Access gate maintenance.

• Proficient in operating company-provided equipment, including:
  • Snowmobiles
  • Pickup trucks
  • Groomers designated for snow making
  • Ground air/water guns
  • Tower air/water guns
  • Electric fan/water machines

• High school or GED equivalent.
• Previous snow making experience is strongly desired.

• Valid Driver’s License
